How pricing works
How a floor is priced
A written estimate states the square footage, the system, the price per square foot and the cure schedule.
What happens at the visit
We measure the floor, grind a test spot, read the slab for cracks, old coatings and moisture, and show you sample boards. Colors look different on a board than across 450 square feet, so we show you both.
When you get the number
In writing, within a few working days of the walk-through, as one price per square foot and a total with the prep and repairs on their own lines.
Nights, weekends and tight sites
We price night and weekend work as its own line and plan it in sections, so only part of the floor is closed at a time.
If the job changes
Slab repairs we find after grinding, extra flake colors and moved items are priced in writing before we do them.
What moves a price
Six things we write down at the walk-through
Size
Square feet of floor. Jobs under 300 square feet carry a minimum.
The system
Solid color, flake, polyaspartic, quartz or urethane cement. Each has its own price per foot.
Slab condition
Cracks, pits, spalling and old patches are repairs and are written as their own lines.
Old coatings and oil
A floor with old paint or oil takes more grinding, or a different plan.
Moisture
A slab that reads wet needs a primer, a fix or a pass.
Access and timing
Nights, weekends and tight sites take a different schedule and price.

Price questions
What is on a written estimate?
The square footage, the system and its coats, the price per square foot, the prep and repairs, the flake or color, the schedule with the cure days, the payment schedule and the warranty terms. If a line is missing, ask for it.
What does the estimate not include?
Slab repairs we find after grinding that were not visible at the walk-through, extra flake colors and moving anything we were told would be cleared. We price each in writing before we do it.
How do the deposit and payment work?
A deposit books your slot. The rest is due on the payment schedule in your written estimate. We take check, card or bank transfer.
What does the warranty cover?
Our written warranty covers our workmanship on the coating, such as peeling or lifting from the slab. Terms, limits and exclusions are in your written warranty. It does not cover a slab that moves or cracks again, damage from impact, or moisture the test did not show.
